Welcome to Grants Pass, Oregon. As the sign over 6th street proclaims, "It's the Climate!" This is not only the motto but the reason so many visitors are attracted to Grants Pass.

Located on the banks of the legendary Rogue River just 60 miles north of the California border, Grants Pass truly has something to offer everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy camping, biking, golfing, hiking, fishing, or rafting the world-class rapids on the mighty Rogue River. Those interested in the arts will enjoy the diverse cultural atmosphere of local art galleries, museums, theatres, and live music venues. Designated a National Historic District, downtown Grants Pass is a shopper's paradise with numerous antique shops, ice cream parlours, an old-fashioned soda fountain, book stores, apparel shops, craft stores, cafes, jewelers, and stores featuring hand-crafted items unique to Oregon. Be sure to enjoy the beautifully restored historical buildings as you stroll through downtown. Grants Pass also has a thriving nightlife including fine dining, theatres, and a performing arts center.
